I am going to share with you a perceptive of time. Everything in this universe is bounded by time. What people fail to realize is that we are very much like a time bomb. One day when when our time is up, we will create an impact on our love ones. Death Reapers will be rich if they were to collect a dime for every person that wished he could turn back time or to be a little more stingy with their time spend in their life time.
Of course this is a hypothetical assumption. The point is the majority of us are complacent and forgetful. We often are distracted by the temptation around us. It is only through the process of losing will we learn how to cherish. The reality is that humans are far away from understanding time. Everyone wish they could back time, to rectify the mistakes that we had done. But there is so much we could do as humans. The distractions around us often lead us away from what we believe in, chasing after temporary power and status. Sure we will be asset rich but we make the biggest mistake of losing our precious time.
Why Old is Gold?
In the essence of time, people that live longer will have a higher possibility of being more experience in certain aspect of life.”Old is Gold”, this proverb is often used in context within Asia. The meaning according to scribe (a social reading and publishing platform) is the meaning of this proverb is that everything that is old are actually valued as gold. We should not consider anything that is old as a waste.
This serve as a reminder for us to appreciate things that stood the test of time. Although some may argue that it may not be entirely true, being old doesn’t mean that they are more experience or valuable. They just live longer and may be a burden to the society. The idea is to appreciate the old stuff, them being in this world earlier than you, this would naturally give them better exposure or experience in life.
Appreciate the little things around us, live by the moment and be contented.
